Optional add-on, charged at activation (prorated to your plan's renewal, then billed together). On Personal it's $39/yr and includes Recipient Notification; on Family it's $29/yr because Recipient Notification is already included in your plan. Periodic check-in emails to you; if you don't respond, the cron escalates through retries, then notifies your primary recipient and your Trusted Contacts.

Free accounts auto-archive after 36 months of inactivity. Paid plans don't soft-lock.

Name recipients who can receive your documents — immediately, on request, or automatically if you go silent. If no recipient is reachable, an executor can request access through a verified, estate-paid process ($295 one-time).

Designate a medical proxy who, in an emergency, can break-glass into a small set of documents you curate (healthcare directive, power of attorney) — never your whole vault. Access is granted immediately after a one-time code is confirmed over both email and text, you're alerted at once with a one-click revoke link, and access auto-expires after 72 hours.
